12-Stage Filtration Process

Stage 1 – 5-Micron Solid Carbon Cartridge

Removes VOCs, pesticides, industrial solvents, and sediment (silt, sand, and dirt).

Stage 2 – 0.020-Micron Ultrafiltration (UF) Membrane

Eliminates bacteria, viruses, parasites, colloids, and organic molecules larger than 0.2 microns.

Stage 3 – One-Micron Pre-Filter Pad

Captures silt, sediment, cysts (Giardia, Cryptosporidium), and rust.

Stage 4 – Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC)

Reduces chlorine, benzene, herbicides, VOCs, and chemical contaminants. Enhances taste and smell.

Stage 5 – Ion Exchange Resin

Reduces heavy metals such as lead, copper, and aluminum. Softens water by lowering hardness.

Stages 6 & 7 – Eagle Redox Alloy® Media

Oxidizes chlorine and removes iron, hydrogen sulfide, mercury, chromium, and other heavy metals. Inhibits bacterial growth.

Stage 8 – One-Micron Filtration Pad

Provides further filtration to remove residual particulates.

Stage 9 – Reverse Osmosis (RO) Membrane

Filters particles as small as 1/10,000 of a micron. Removes salts, microorganisms, metals, and most inorganic pollutants.

Stages 10 & 12 – One-Micron Filter Pads
